How can the Progressive Party function on a 100% volunteer basis.
It is amazing how much time, energy and money actually is wasted by fundraising. By redirecting that energy to organizing and expanding the membership of the party, an enormous volunteer force can be organized.
Individuals and groups of individuals are still able to pool their resources and/or set up Political Action Committees as needed or desired OUTSIDE the structure of the party.

How do I register to vote as a member of the Progressive Party?
At this time, we are not asking members to change the status of their voter registration. There is no need. We encourage everyone to be properly registered as an Independent or "No Party Preference" or as a member of whatever party they currently support. Some states do not require party affiliation and some allow same day registration on election day.
All we are asking people to do is to join and network with the people that you know in order to expand our organization. We do not plan to endorse a Presidential candidate before 2028. There will be plenty of time to focus on voter registration in the future.

Will the Progressive Party be supporting a Presidential candidate in the future?
Not in the near future. Our focus for the 2022 and 2024 elections is to support Independent candidates for Congress. We are NOT looking for a savior to run for president. We are working to build a network of like-minded people who will collectively have more power than any political party. Each individual district organization will be free to democratically determine their preference in any state or national election.

Why start a new party? Why not just join the Libertarian, Green or People's parties?
Progressives share many ideals with both the Libertarian and Green parties. However, American Libertarianism tends to support corporatism rather than oppose it. CLICK HERE for additional information regarding the Green Party. CLICK HERE for additional information regarding the People's Party.

Shouldn't Progressives join the Democratic Party and try to reform it from inside.
The odds are that reform from within will not succeed. Existing political party structure won't change. The result would simply be that different people hold power in a corrupt structure.
